This is a blended training course made up of both on-line and in the class sessions. The duration of the online component is self-directed but expected to take approximately 3 to 4 hours for the lay person to complete. This will be followed by inclass practical sessions and assessment of skills.
Both the online and in class components need to be completed successfully within three months to be eligible for a certificate.
You will need a broadband internet connection to access the online component of the course. Please note that the speed of broadband differs and at the slower speeds you will notice some graphics take time to load.
This course can be assessed to unit standards 6401 and 6402 upon request or be used to refresh a current first aid certificate dated within 2 years & 3 months. Students must provide NZQA number to report credits within two months of training date.
Duration 3 to 4 hours online followed by 4 -to 6 hours in the classroom.
